I am in the two weeks wait after having an IUI with donor 4046 on March 30th. This is my second try. My first one was last october (same donor) and I got pregnant but there was no heart beat after 6 weeks

Sorry for your loss.
Sending happy thoughts your way!!!!

Thanks. I am hoping this time everything goes well. Did you use this donor? I would also like to hear from others who have used him.

I am planning on doing IUI with donor 4046 in June. I have not been able to purchase due to unavailability. Hoping I will be able to get IUI vials in time. I wanted to hear from others who had used him. I'm glad you were able to conceive with this donor. Hope you get positive results

Thank you. It seems like a lot of women are using him because it is hard to buy the vials. You have to be in the waiting list but I am sure you will get the vials before June. He has reported pregnancies but I guess they are not posting anything in the forum. I will find out if I get a positive this weekend...I am praying this time all goes well. Is this your first IUI?

It is my first time trying. I have been trying to get on the waiting list for a while. He is a popular guy
can't wait to hear your results

. I feel down. I am 42 years old and this was my second try...I don't know if I will be able to afford another try.
JP1018...I wish you luck! -
I'm sorry
. You just have to keep thinking positive!!! It happened before and can happen again
-
I'm with Melissa33 if it happened once it will happen again.
-
JP1018 did you use 4046 for your recent IUI? Hope your 2WW is over soon
-
Yes we purchased several of his vials. That was such a hard thing picking...when we found one made sure to have plenty. Thx I'm halfway there!
-
Tell me about it! Choosing the right donor was very hard! I will definitely make sure to buy plenty when they become available! Good luck!
-
JP1018 did you get any good results with your last IUI?
-
Chemical pregnancy;(
-
Oh I'm so sorry
. Are you going to try again? I was able to purchase my vials and hopefully have my first IUI in June. I'm nervous but thinking positively.
-
Yes. Have to have a procedure 1st and then will try again. If IUI doesn't work I plan to go on and try IVF.
-
I'm sorry your having a bumpy journey
. Are you going to use the same donor? Hope the procedure goes well!! Let me know how your doing!
-
Melissa, good luck with your iui. I am thinking that If I do it again I will try a different donor. Keep us posted on how your iui goes with donor 4046. I am very interested
-
Thank you! I'm hoping my age will play a positive role lol. I'm 32. I've never tried to conceive before so I have no idea how this will go. Especially after hearing about the unlucky results with 4046. Keep me posted on your next step as well

Hi everyone, I'm so glad there is somewhere I can go to vent and actually have people understand what I'm going through. None of our friends and family have any idea what this feels like. We just tried for the first time last month with iui, and got bfn. Now we're trying again this month, adding clomid 25 mg and a different donor (our original one was so popular they ran out). I was so positive it would happen for us right away b/c we've been working to get here for 5 long years. I'm hoping and praying this is our month. I love reading everyones experience b/c I understand exactly what your going through, cuz I'm right there with you. Baby dust for everyone! Also, random question......did y'all have the doc or nurse do iui procedure? We had nurse do two last month, and not sure if the actual doc would be any "better" at it, or pretty straight forward procedure.

Hi Messmer,
Did you use donor 4046 too? -
Hi Messmer. I wish you lots of luck this month! I just wanted to let you know I've had the nurse do 2 of my IUI's and the doctor did 1 of my IUI's. I don't think there was much difference between the nurse and doctor other than the nurse was always more less formal and we talked and had casual conversation and the doctor was more formal about the whole thing. Because of this I preferred the nurse over the doctor but they both did the same thing. The only time the doctor did my IUI was when it needed done on the weekend. I hope that helps ease your mind.
Good luck!!
