Well Donor 2559 works... Helllooo Quadruplets!

My wife and I were thrilled to find out she was pregnant 10 days ago! After 3 years of marriage and knowing that I couldn't have kids, we were so excited that this donor sperm thing finally worked. We knew the chances of multiples, but never imagined anything more than twins. But we just returned from the doctor and we found out we have FOUR little ones on the ultrasound... and we're kinda freaked out. Now my wife is only 5 weeks in and only one of the four has a heartbeat, but we should know in the next week or two of more ultrasounds to see how many heartbeats form. I know it's kinda risky to have 4 babies at once and the doctor says they have never had more than triplets through their office, but I guess we'll decide how to proceed after these next couple of weeks.

We go from having major fertility issues to having quadruplets -- WOW is an understatement right now.

Any idea how many kids it would take to get a TV show deal? (only half kidding

Wow! Congratulations....times four! I can't even imagine what could possibly going through your heads right now. And one heartbeat at 5 weeks is pretty good since they don't usually see any heartbeats until 6 weeks. There could be more heartbeats by next week. I'll be anxious to hear any updates as you get them. I will say a prayer for you both and the 4 little ones, I know I'd need some prayers if that were me!
