Yeah I did. I had an unsuccessful IUI, so I am moving to IVF. Are you planning to use him?

Yanla - I had my IUI this morning. The dr said that 4060's vial was excellent and had 14 million sperm. Hopefully that means that I will have some good news in two weeks- if the wait doesn't kill me first!

Great to hear. My doctor said the same thing. I am so eager to hear he has reported pregnancies. My mom really likes this donor. I hope you have great news. My IVF is scheduled for end of October.

Thanks! My doctor said that my vial had 10 million sperm this time. That scared me a little since it was 14 million last time. My doctor assured me that 10 million was a great number but it still makes me nervous.

How great would it be if we were both successful and expecting half-siblings due around the same time?

I am trying to be really optimistic about this cycle. I don't know for sure why last time was unsuccessful, but I feel much more relaxed this time. Last cycle I was much more stressed because I was taking time off of work and had a houseful of visiting relatives. I feel like I am more psychologically prepared this time because I know what to expect. Not to mention that this IUI was scheduled on a Saturday so I didn't need to miss work and I could spend the entire weekend resting.

How old are you? Are doing medicated or unmediated cycles? The answer to those two questions is sometimes a good indicator of success.
Just relax today and think positive thoughts.

Sorry to hear. Third time is said to be the charm. I am still waiting for my lucky charm. I have my retrieval in a few hrs. It's under IV sedation.

When are you thinking of going again? I was planning to call and get his pregnancy range.

I hope that your retrieval went well! I just ordered two more vials from 4060 so we can try again with this cycle! I am keeping my fingers crossed for both of us!

Thanks my retrieval was good. I am 38 yrs old so my AMH is low (average for my age). They retrieved 11, 8 were mature and 5 fertilized.
I am praying for us both.

That's great that you had 5 fertilized eggs. I don't know a lot about IVF but that sounds really promising!

I have only used one vial per cycle but my dr requires a back-up just in case there is a
problem. I am hoping that this cycle works but I have already scheduled a sit-down consultation with my dr in case I don't get pregnant this time to see what we can do differently to try to be successful. We have felt so devastated when the first two IUI's didn't work and I feel like we are going to go crazy if we continue on this roller coaster! Not to mention the financial strain for us.

I don't know if she is willing to try back-to-back vials in one cycle or maybe boost my meds to make me more fertile.
