Donor 4060

Don't be so hard on yourself.
Unfortunately, as I have learnt the hard way and my IVF cycle has confirmed, as we get older we just don't have as many amazing eggs.
It is a very hard process. It will work out. Maybe you can try injectables.
Keep me posted. Not sure back to back is proven to be more successful. -
I am going in for my third (and hopefully lucky!) third IUI tomorrow. I definitely have mixed emotions. I feel really hopeful but at the same time, I am trying to be realistic to prepare myself emotionally in case I am unsuccessful again. On the first two attempts, I told a few of my closest friends about the IUI and it was really painful to have to share my disappointing news with them. This time, my husband and me are the only ones who know.
Did you ever call Fairfax to find out 4060's pregnancy range? Hopefully we both will be able to help continue the rate! -
I did call. His pregnancy range is 1-5. I wish you tons and tons of baby dust.
Keep me posted. -
Any news yet? I have six days left on my TWW. I hate the not knowing!
-
I do. Unfortunately, I transferred one embryo and it was a BFN. I am not sure when I will do a FET yet. I have also started to look into adoption. I just cannot keep on this emotional roller coaster.
Keep me posted. -
I am so sorry! It is a horrible roller coaster of emotions. After my last negative, my husband was ready to throw in the towel. I am open to adoption but he's not there yet. A good friend of mine went through an insane 19 rounds of IUI's and IVF's before switching to adoption. As a single woman, she was matched with a newborn baby boy. She is so happy and her son is the cutest little guy! Best of luck with your decisions!

A negative here, too.
-
Sorry to hear. I am still grieving my last failed attempt. I am trying to get an earlier date with my doctor, but he is booked up.
Keep me posted. -
I am so sorry. I really feel your pain. This is definitely the most difficult thing that I have ever been through.
On a related note, did you see that 4060 no longer has "Available" vials? They all now say "Please call." This makes me nervous since he was the only one donor my husband and I agreed on using! This could further complicate things! -
I used him and had a baby boy. He is 7 months old
-
Annie, are you on the Fairfax Cryobank fb page? Do you plan on utilizing the DSR? I bought 4 vials of 4060 and I'm so excited to start!
-
Annie, this is a thread for donor 4060.
-
That's awesome Annie. Do you have photos of your son you would like to share? Does he look like the donor?
-
I have one vial left and I am a single mom.... so I'm not sure I can financially support a second baby..... I will make my decision within the next year or so.... I hope that this sparks some hope for you guys in this donor my son is the most amazing thing... his demanor is incredible. He was born 3 weeks early (I had a major liver issue) at 6lb 3oz and 18 inches.... he looks just like me... I see some things in him that aren't me and do appear to resemble the donor. Our baby pictures are nearly identical

He is adorable. He does look a lot like you. Thanks for sharing. I will not be doing a frozen embryo transfer until next year. Just going to enjoy the holidays.
-
Hi Annie, is your donor 4060 or 4046?
-
omg forgive me 4046... so sleep deprived that I can't read. Please keep in touch. I want to hear your success stories.
-
Cute baby boy. Is there anyone on here that have children by donor 4060...?
-
I don't think that 4060 would have any children yet because he was just added as a donor in the Spring. His profile said that there were no reported pregnancies up until about 2 months ago so hopefully we will hear about a baby born next Spring or Summer. I just used 4060 for my fourth IUI yesterday and the vial contained 16 million sperm so that is very promising!
-
Jld, that is so true. I was actually shocked about the baby by Annie. He is a relatively new donor.
Wish you all the best on your IUI. Keep me posted. Did you use injectable this round? -
My doctor still doesn't want me using injectibles- just Clomid and then Ovidrel for the trigger. I am really hoping that this IUI works. My dr suggested moving on to IVF but my husband refuses to do that. If this cycle doesn't work, we are going to take a little break for my body to get all of the hormones out of my system and just a little rest from so many doctor appointments before resuming in the Spring.

Another negative.
-
Sorry to hear. This process is dreadful. I am trying to relax and enjoy the holidays. I may have an FET in January. I am reluctant to get back on the roller coaster.
Keep in touch and try to relax. It will all work out. I find some time off is great. -
hi there! wanted to see if you ladies had any luck with 4060? I'm now 31 weeks preg, expecting a boy in 2 months, September 30th. It took a single IUI, and no drug interventions, so I got lucky
Best of luck! -
Do you still have a vial. We had a boy and would like to have a sibling..? Beautiful baby!
