I think I've finally made my choice and am in the process of moving on from the "thinking" stage. Just wanted to know if anyone has used Donor 2984?

    i really liked him! but there was a waiting list (and i had put myself on it) but i purchased another donor...and then got the call from fairfax that he was available a few days later. oh well....but he sounds awesome! good luck!

    Also, what does the range mean? 1 out of 5 vials produce a pregnancy? :P

    The range means he has somewhere between 1-5 pregnancies reported.

    I also used 2984... I am doing unmedicated cycles right now, so my first try with him was unsuccessful... I go for my next iui around July 8th using him again... Crossing my fingers it works this time... :)

    hi all - also new to this and considering 2984. does anyone know for sure he has had pregnancies? i don't see him listed on the donorsiblingregistry.com. if anyone has used him, i would love to hear from you!

    we plan on going with 2984 in august - 1st time. anyone have luck with him? any update on his number of pregnancies yet? this whole thing is new to us so any insight anyone has would be super appreciated!

    Hi:

    I was wondering if anyone has bought the adult photo of this donor? If so, might you give me your impressions?

    After extensive and mentally draining analysis and spreadsheets and craziness, I finally zeroed in on a donor. I had bought many many baby photos and a couple of adult photos--saving those for the finalists. I then get my test results to find out I am CMV neg. Thus, 2984 (among other things...) So, I am considering switching after all of that. But am struggling to put out even more money before the process has even started on yet another photo...so if you have some insight it would be much appreciated. Then maybe that will help me make a determination.

    I purchased units of this donor and will undergo IUI within the next couple of weeks. Im excited and a wee bit I guess you could say nervous for lack of a better word. Just wanted to check in with others who may potientially conceive with this donor.

    Hello Everybody,

    We chose Donor 2984 and started the insemination process in August of 2011. My wife was put on chlomid and produced 9 mature eggs. Hence, we did not inseminate that cycle! We went with a natural cycle in September of 2011 and she produced 2 mature eggs; so, we inseminated on September 10th and 11th. Yesterday, we learned that she is pregnant! First try was the charm for us! :)

    Thats awesome news,congrats on the pregnancy... This is my 5th cycle with this donor, hoping#5 is the charm... If not moving onto IVF Again... Crossing my fingers and hanging onto hope this round... I am keeping the faith with God.. :)

    Anybody else get a BFP with donor #2984? I'm considering using my next IUI with him...considered him before, but used 2 other donors for my first 4 IUIs...just trying to figure out who to use. Thanks.

    I still havent had luck with him, I did 5 iui and now trying a ivf cycle with his since I still had vials left... Anyone have any more luck with him? His counts are good...

    Sine4me- I didnt get pics sorry... If it works this round I will end up purchasing.. Best of luck :)

    Hello kmugrauer family,

    Not sure if you are still looking at these threads, but I am 4 months pregnant after IUI with Donor 2984. I am pending registration with the subforum for this donor, but if you have any donor-related information to share concerning your child, it would be much appreciated.

    I have gone through initial genetic screening tests - all looks good. Because I am over 40, I am getting pressure to have amniocentesis done regardless.

    Hi and apologies - it's been quite a year.

    I gave birth to a baby boy on Dec. 29, 2012. He is healthy and vibrant, and all smiles and laughter.

    I registered on the Donor Sibling Registry. You may want to join the Fairfax family forum for donor 2984 for additional information.

    There are several families with children already, all apparently healthy. Many boys.

    How are you doing and let me know if I can be of any help
