I would love if individuals could share their success stories with IUI, how quickly you got pregnant and how old you were.

I just finished my baseline testing and my results were wonderful; however, my doctor ended the session by indicating that the success rate for IUI is 15%. First, those stats seemed low, second, that news was really discouraging and heartbreaking to hear. I could really use some success stories to reenergize me.

    Hello sheannca! Don't be discourage! I'm 37 yrs old and my first IUI was successful my doctor gave us a 8 % success rate but it works the first try and now I am 17 weeks pregnant:) be positive :) good luck!

    Thank you nanayme! I really appreciate you sharing your experience and your added encouragement. I'm 39 and although my baseline testing was great, my doctor kept nudging the topic of my age. All along I was excited, but the recent mention of the success stat really threw me off track.

    Congratulations on your pregnancy. It's wonderful to hear that it worked out so well for you. You're almost at the halfway point. :)
