Blue eye donor that produces blue eyes with a brown eye mom

Anyone recommend any donors that produced blue eye babies even with the mom having brown ? My husband really wants our baby to look like him so I'm trying to find donors with his features . Thanks for your recommendation !!!!

So, genetics are a crazy thing and certainly I can't guarantee anything but donor 4574 has helped me to create the most beautiful little blue-eyed twins

I'm actually African-American/Irish and brown-eyed (my mother has blue). 4574 is Caucasian w/ green eyes. My boy/girl twins have blue eyes...not the eyes that are going to change to brown in a month, but bright blue. They are 7 months. Good Luck to you and your husband on this journey!!

Appreciate your reply and congrats. he only has IVF vials. Thats what I am running into the donor we really want only has iii ART vials. really discouraging cuz he looks just like my husband.

I called my doctor because the donor I wanted only has ART vials and they said it was fine to use. The only difference is the motile sperm count, it's about 6,000 instead of 10,000. Doesn't hurt to ask.

If your parents have light eyes even though you have brown eyes and your donor has blue eyes and donor's parents have blue eyes (the profile will tell you the eye color of his parents and siblings), I think your chance would be pretty good...but still genetics are crazy! My dad has blue eyes, his parents had blue eyes (dad) and brown eyes (mom). My mom has brown eyes and her parents had blue eyes (Dad) and green eyes (mom). I have brown eyes, but both of my siblings have blue eyes. My sibling's children are split 50/50 brown eyes and blue eyes. So, give yourself the odds and figure its a 50/50 shot from there!

I have brown eyes, my parents both brown, my siblings (7) all brown, nieces and nephew (12) all brown and somehow my daughter has blue eyes! I used donor 4715.

We have decided to use him even tho he does not have an adult photo. I love that he has wavy hair too. Have my fingers crossed this works for us this cycle.
