CMV Positive or Negative?

Hi! I know this conversation varies depending on who you talk to, but hoping to get more opinions. I'm CMV negative, but have my heart set on a CMV positive donor. Has anyone continued with CMV positive donor even though you were negative? What was your advice from doctor?

I was in the same boat, but my doctor wouldn’t do the procedure if I hadn’t picked a donor with my same CMV status. She insisted it could put the fetus at risk.
