Still in search of anyone that has used donor 4187. He is a new donor and doesn't have confirmed pregnancies yet. But his sperm count is very good :-D

    we are going to buy donor 4187 on monday.. did you have luck with him? what were his sperm counts?

    Okay Ladies,
    There are lots of lurkers on this forum AND for the second time this donor has sold out of ICI samples. Please share your experiences or atleast REPORT your pregnancy to Fairfax. Its hard to believe only myself and one other person has used donor 4187.

    Clearly people are buying and I have put myself out there to help people with my knowledge of this donor. I wish people would do the same. I am starting to become concerned that he has sold so many samples but has no reported pregnancies.
    If you have used him and are looking at this post please report you successes and failures.

    I'm scheduled for my third IUI with donor 4187 in two days. Just wondering if there's anyone out there that is planning on using him in the future? I started a private forum but sadly I'm the only one on there. Hopefully, it will be a successful cycle. :D

    I think I'm going to use 4187 when I try my first IUI next month. Exciting...and nerve-wracking. Picking a donor has been crazy. Let me know if anyone has any feedback on 4187!

    His numbers were great post thaw last Tues. I purchased the IUI type so that I could minimize what's lost by being washed. There were 80 million and 50% motility. Good luck with your cycle!

    No luck with this donor even with injectables. 4187 was used for 2 cycles on Clomid and 1 cycle on injectibles. I'm changing donors ASAP. He's been in the program since early January and should have confirmed pregnancies by now. :?:

    Yes, ironically on the day I got my BFN "someone" reported a pregnancy. But that still is only ONE in almost 8 months of this donor being in the program. And I started a private forum a while ago and there hasn't been anyone on there that had success with this donor. Guess the one person is private and doesn't care to share with others going through this challenging process.

    You have to go on to the private forum by donor numbers and request access from Fairfax. Once they verify that you have ordered this donor in the past, you will be able to view the private forum. Have you decided to change back to this donor for the next try? I'm switching to someone that is no longer in the program but had 10-15 confirmed pregnancies since 2009. But I got the last two vials which someone sold back. Keep me posted.

    Its on the paperwork that comes sent with the sample...the doctor always shows me right before she does the IUI

    No I am definitely not going back to this donor. I have been watching how many vials he sold in the past and I am not comfortable with his lack of posted pregnancies (one one that was just reported this week). His counts are great so that does show me that numbers are not all that matters in this crazy game of luck. Moe who did you decide on this time? I have narrowed my choices to a few as of now, I am getting a refund from fairfax so I am waiting for the paperwork to go thru to decide.

    I'm glad you are able to get a refund. What were your counts?? What donor will you select this time??

    I used 4187 for IVF. I am currently 13 weeks pregnant. To the ladies that are deciding not to use him because he has only had one pregnancy, just remember that there might be many that are currently pregnant and are too superstitious (fear of jinxing what seems to good to be true) to have reported the pregnancy to Fairfax yet. I will only report mine when I have given birth.

    I did my IVF in NYC, but live in Johannesburg (South Africa) and am a SMBC. I would like to get into contact with any step-siblings' moms and moms-to-be.

    If anyone would be kind enough to email me his baby pic and adult pic, I would be grateful if you could PM me.

    used 4187 once for IUI and delivered a beautiful 9 lb 3 oz baby boy on July 14 :) FYI he has some gastro esoph. reflux issues which caused him time in NICU to determine whether seizures or GER, but thanks to God things worked out.

    I used 4187 IUI and delivered a beautiful baby girl 8lb 8oz in April. She too has the gastro esoph reflux bad.

    I also used 4187 IUI and delivered a 9 lb 9 oz baby girl in oct 2012. She is a blonde blue eyed beauty and I am looking at giving her a full sibling. I have 1 vial left and unfortunately at the time didn't think he would run out:( now I'm facing the chance that she will be the only child
