There are three donors I'm seriously considering for my IVF procedure in April. I am also going to be using donor egg, so it's important to me that I choose a donor with similar physical features to me. I also really, really want a girl...so anyone who has used one of these donors and gotten a baby girl, please post:)

Any feedback, or suggestions, would be greatly appreciated! It's such a tough decision!!
Thanks,
Amy

Hi. I can't help you out with those donors but I did want to reach out to say, like you, I had to do donor egg and sperm. I'm currently 8 weeks pregnant. Good luck. Christina

Congratulations Christina! Did you get pregnant your first try? I'm going to Shady Grove Fertility in Maryland for my procedure and I'm hoping it works the first time out since my insurance only pays for IVF once in a lifetime!

Hi Amyhesley007, I'm having a difficult time choosing too and this is our second time around the block. We decided to change donors for several reasons and now this time we have new criteria which minimizes our available donor pool. We've discovered that my wife is CMV- and when we select a donor we have to choose a negative donor because our clinic will not inseminate if it's positive donor. We want the same donor for a sibling and even though I'm first up we have to consider this for her pregnancy. Plus we're Canadian so we have additional screening due to Health Canada regulations. If you want me offer a different perspective send me a pic of yourself and your potential donors and I'll comment on those alone :)
