Anyone use 2 vials in one cycle?

My doc said he'd like to use 2 vials in one cycle. 48 hours after the first iui. Thoughts?

I used two vials the first time we tried IUI and we successfully conceived our son. My doctor did the IUIs 24 hours apart though, we triggered ovulation and did the first IUI 12 hours later and the second IUI 36 hours post trigger. Good luck!

We used two vials. Not 48 hours apart, but perhaps your doctor knows something about your cycle that makes them suggest that period of time? We had an unmedicated cycle. I used one vial on the day of my positive ovulation test and another vial about 24 hours later. It was our first and only attempt with IUI and worked!

Two vials is pretty much the norm since we don't know when our eggs actually drop... It's good to time it so you have two good chances.

It all depended on our counts. With the first donor we tried 5 times, 3 of those times his counts were lower than 4 million, so we used 2 vials. Both of my conceptions were with single vials, single IUIs. Both had counts around 8 million. (Motile sperm)
