I have one embryo frozen from this donor. Will have a transfer in couple of months...
  • JeannetteJeannette Junior Member Junior Member
I have done two transfers with no luck. My doctor suggested an ERA test, which has told us I'm in a pre-receptive phase after the normal 5 days of progesterone. We're testing monthly and increasing my progesterone for each test by one extra day until they find my correct window. One more embryo left...hope we figure this all out.

I went through 2 ERA tests and found that I'm receptive on day 7 of progesterone rather than day 5. I don't know if that's the standard for everyone or just my doctor...

Anyway, the first transfer after finding my receptive window was a success and I'm pregnant with a boy. I'm going in tomorrow for a secondary blood test to make sure my levels are increasing, but all looks well so far :) We'll see how this goes.

I haven't heard of anyone else having luck with 4285 and I was wondering how your transfer went. Wishing you the best :)

We're about to start IUI with 4285. How's everything going?

Anyone have any luck 4285? He sold out before our first IUI, but it didn't work and he had availability again. We do our first IUI with him next week.

I'm 26 weeks along and everything is going great! I'd love to hear how things go for you. Sorry for my slow response...this site doesn't notify my email. I'll check to see if I can change settings. Good luck with your IUI!

Awesome! Very excited for you! We used a different donor before, but 4285 was absolutely our first choice. We didn't risk it this time and bought all of his vials when they came available again. Fingers crossed! :)

How many tries did it take before you got pregnant?

I got pregnant on my third try, but it was because the first two transfers were done outside of my receptive window. After a series of ERA tests, it was discovered that I fall outside of the norm (I guess 20% do) and I'm receptive on day 7 of progesterone rather than day 5. As soon as they found my correct window, the doctor did an FET the next month and all has gone perfectly.

We did our first try with 4285, so here's hoping for a non-tedious and successful two weeks. :)

Big no go on the first try. This is tedious!

I'm sorry...hang in there. And yes, tedious is a perfect way to define the process. Sending good baby vibes your way :)

I have 1 vial of 4285 ICI I'm selling if anyone needs it. I ended up using a different donor. Please note the vial was shipped to my top-notch clinic in NYC before being shipped back to Fairfax. Everything should be fine but I know Fairfax cares about whether a vial has left them. I did try several IUIs with 4285 and sperm quality was great but the IUIs didn't take. When I moved to IVF I decided to use an Open ID donor (who also failed me during IUI).

Yes! I had a healthy baby boy who is 2 years this month. Second try IUI. I'm new to this forum and trying to figure out navigating it.
