Juice Plus - I'm in my tww.

Hi all, I was just curious if anyone uses Juice Plus and if you've been taking it while pregnant. I was using it prior to my IUI on May 29th. I stopped taking it because my doctor had never heard of it so I didn't want to risk it. Although I feel better while on it so I plan on bringing in some literature at my next apt because I would like to start taking it again. Anyway, was just curious if anyone else has used it while trying to conceive or during actual pregnancy.

As far as supplements go, I know that the DHEA that a lot of people on here take TTC, The bottle says to not take it during pregnancy. All drs. usually say for pregnant women, is to avoid taking medication. Any kind unless needed. They usually go by the class of drug, to determine how safe a medication is. They all go off just past knowledge of risks that are reported. But, it's only made into a warning when a certain number of people are affected. Supplements aren't FDA approved drugs so, there's no real law stating any adverse side effects caused ----, to happen. As far as what Dr.s go off of usually, is to just say that tylonol is safe to take, cause it's filtered out throught the body differently, safer than other NSAIDS.

It's actually not a drug. It's just fruit and vegetables in a tablet form. There is no drugs in it at all. It's supposed to be a way for people who don't get in their daily servings to get them in. Like I said, I have stopped taking it was just wondering if anyone else found it was safe from a doctor. I wouldn't think it would be harmful as the ingredients are all fruits and vegetables. I will be checking with my doctor at my visit next week.

I take Juice Plus and brought the bottles in (garden and orchard) before I started IVF. Doctors were familiar with it and thought it was great for pregnancy. I consulted my mom who is a nurse midwife and she assured me it's safe and can only help. There's actually a Juice Plus and pregnancy info sheet online, I think you can just google it! Yay for Juice Plus.
