We're interested in connecting with other families who have used a donor to start their family. We have one 18 month old son conceived with donor sperm.

Congrats on your son! We are 50+ miles north of NOLA and newly pregnant

We are in the New Orleans Metro Area, we just bought vials of 4066 and will begin the process in January.
I'd love to hear your stories on how this process was for you? Was it at home or through an office procedure? If Dr., which one did you use? Fertility Clinic in the area?
We are using Dr. Grace, she's at Tulane in Metairie (formerly Lakeside Women's)
Fingers crossed it does not take too long!
If you prefer to send a private message, my email is aprilandmelody@gmail.com -
We are located in the Lafayette area and just inseminated on Monday!!! We are hoping for a BFP soon!

YAY more Louisiana girls! I used the Baton Rouge office of the Fertility Institute of New Orleans (due to my age of 39); things progressed pretty quickly for us -- pregnant with what looks like twins on only our 2nd cycle! Robo - try to stay sane during these few days and April, it's not too early to get on prenatal vitamins (my doc prescribed mine but there are some over the counter) ~ good luck to you both!

Thank you and congrats to you Frenchelle!! TWINS?!?!?! We may sound crazy but we hope for twins every day and we aren't even sure we're pregnant! Lol We figured two for the price of one...can't beat that!
These next two weeks will feel like a lifetime. It's only been 5 days and it feels like forever!
When the day comes for us to be blessed with a little one, we would love to connect with other donor families in Louisiana.
And yes, April, I would strongly recommend starting the prenatals now, folic acid is essential in pregnancy. -
Thanks French and Robo! Best of luck to both of you!!!!! I have been on prenatal vitamins for a while now, as well as Vitex (chaste berry), I see the Doctor on firday to see if she wants to start me on fertility meds..... one healthy pregnancy is the main objective for us right now, but twins would be great too!
Best wishes ladies, I'll be on her watching for progress, please keep me posted!
