My wife and I are going to try but weren't sure for at home which vial to choose. I see IUI and ICI everywhere, no help on which is best for at home...

ICI is the traditional "turkey Baster" method where a syringe puts the sperm in the vagina as close to the cervix as possible. IUI requires a catheter to go through the cervix and puts the sperm in the uterus. ICI seems to be the preferred choice to use at home as it seems like a bad idea to have an amateur poking around in the uterus. My doc told me some women pass out when their cervix is irritated which is why they have me lay on the table for about 15 minutes after the iui procedure.

Yes, if you do it yourself at home you want ici. Just be aware it has a lower success rate than doing an iui in your doctors office.

Im on my 2nd iui the first didnt work, so today i had my 2nd i guess im in my tww now praying it goes through i was crushed the first time.
