How'd That Happened?

For the ladies here in the family way, how has your pregnancy been accepted? I am 10 weeks with twins and after a rough trimester my partner of 11 years and I finally feel comfortable to tell people around us. It's really been a mixed bag of responses...mostly "how'd that happen?" Honestly, I didn't think two ladies using a donor would be so mysterious?!? One older aunt, who is very accepting, questioned if I had strayed! Ok we laughed at that one. But does anyone have a short and sweet response to the confused naysayers?
