My wife and I are starting our RIVF cycles in Oct. She is 30 and I am 34. We will be using her eggs and I will carry. We are both medically healthy, we chose this way so we could both have a unique connection with our child.
Does anyone else have a similar story? Have you achieved pregnancy? Given birth?
Can you share your medication stories? Was it tough? Painful? Mood swings? Anything that will feed my curiosity would be great.
Thank you for your time... sending you all good vibes, white light and prayers

The medications weren't too bad - it kind of felt like a relay race - the injections were pretty straight forward. The worst symptoms were after the egg retrieval - mostly just really bad bloating and constipation. We didn't experience any mood swings - just felt tired and experienced bruising at the injections sites.
We ended up with twelve eggs at retrieval, eight looked good enough to fertilize, five made it to day five and were biopsied for genetic testing - unfortunately we only ended up with one viable embryo, which was surprising to us and to our doctor. We transferred the single embryo and then found out Monday that we are pregnant. We are definitely glad that we went ahead with the genetic testing since four of our five great looking embryos ended up having chromosomal problems.
Good luck - Keeping you and your wife in our thoughts!
hope your pregnancy is going smoothly. Cheers!!
