Question regarding "success range" that you give out..

I had recently called and ordered my 9th vial from a donor. I had asked for his range of "success" and I was told he has had between 1-5 "successful reports" I was told that could mean either
A) Bi-Chemical Test - Which is basically a positive from a Home Pregnancy Test
Clinical Test - Which is a positive from a doctors office- (That a heart beat was heard)
C) A Birth
I'm in a bit of disbelief at how broad the spectrum is. I'm not sure what the point is at giving any numbers at all at that point. You give out a number like between 1-5 and then follow it to include just about anything. I feel with the amount of money people are paying for vials especially when it is their 9th purchase of a vial from the same donor they should be given a little bit more details then that. You guys have the details in numbers we dont. We just go with "Instict" and clearly our want to conceive. While I was thinking about the reasoning as to why Fairfax wont release more intricate details I couldn't quite figure it out. What difference would it make if you broke down the exact numbers of A- B- AND C-. To give a range like that and have it include anything really doesnt mean much.
Additionally what guidelines does Fairfax follow to confirm let's say for example A? So if I get a positive on a home pregnancy test and I call does that just automatically count as one? In trying to conceive as long as I have and being on many diferent forums I have had / seen many women who SWEAR they see a second line just because of how eager they are and how great their despiration is to have that baby. They will see a line which in turn is just a evap line and their blood work a week later confirms it was just that, a evap line. So let's say that happens and they never call to say "I made a mistake" then it still counts as one? I would think before Fairfax would add a number to the range there would be some sort of guidelines that would be followed?
If any and all information regarding my concerns could be answered that would be great.
I hope you understand where I am coming from. I just think it is a VERY broad spectrum. Too broad. I also can't see it really helping anyone because it could in fact mean nothing but a false report of (A). Considering the finances involved in each vial I was just hoping for a little more.
Thank you for taking your time to read this.

I hope you get your answers.
For us, we called to advised with our first child that we were pregnant. They asked if it was confirmed by a Dr and if a heartbeat was detected. We called back after our daughter was born to advise of a live birth. Not sure if this is required or not. We are currently pregnant with our second by the same donor and I made that same call last week. I was again asked if a heartbeat had been detected, which it had since I was in my 2nd tri when I called. I don't recall them asking if it was an HPT (not saying they didn't) or not. Just if it was a clinical confirmation with heartbeat.
Hang in there!!!! People are rooting for you! -
I never reported until after the first trimester. Additionally the doctor reported after a live birth.

I reported after the birth of my son.

I reported as soon as I got positive blood test, then again once live birth. I got a little burned by purchasing four vials from my first donor and then my doctor said the specimens did not survive washing well (but couldn't get a refund since the counts pre-washing were acceptable) - and he said I should just discard the last two specimens and not even try with them...So after that when trying new donors I only bought one vial at a time first, had the doctor confirm the "goods" were good, so to speak, and then felt confident enough to buy more vials at a time.
