Anybody in the DC/Baltimore area?

Hi all,

My wife and I are being transferred to northern Virginia. We are completely unfamiliar with the area. We have been planning to conceive for months here in Denver and now are having to redo are homework with this move. We have narrowed it down to a few donors but are hoping for some provider recommendations. We would love to do assisted insemination at home but can't seem to find any midwives that perform that in this area. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Hello everyone! We are so excited that we discovered this forum! My wife and I live in Richmond, VA. We are using donor 4050. We started our first IUI last month, but unfortunately were unsuccessful. We just had our second attempt and are in the two week wait. This time around has been so challenging to wait as I am not gifted with patience;) We will test on December 22nd. Hoping to make this an extra special Christmas!
Would love to get to know all of you. There is something very comforting in knowing that we are sharing this journey with others.

My partner and I are 10 weeks along with Donor 4050. It took us 2 tries with this donor. Good luck! December 22nd is our 8 year old daughter's birthday, so I'm hoping that will bring you good luck!

Good luck Vanessa&Kris! I have a son from donor 4050 and keep in touch with other 4050 families so if you do become pregnant please keep in touch by joining the private forum for 4050.
