Embryo Adoption/Donation vs. DE/DS

Hi. I've gone through 5 IVFs and 2 IUI'S and am now considering embryo adoption/donation or DE/DS (my eggs are too mature). I'm extremely happy with my Fairfax donor 4120 and have enough vials for DE. Has anyone else gone through this struggle as a SMC? Ideally would love to "adopt" an embryo with 4120 but I'm not sure if that's even possible......

I was in a similar position last year. I had done 4 IUI's, and one IVF with my own eggs. I had a chemical pregnancy from the last one, which made me want to try again, but I was out of money. So, I went to Mexico, to Fertility Center Cancun, and did one more IVF with my own eggs and PGD, and simultaneously did one with an egg donor. I shipped my sperm from Fairfax down there, because I had spent so much time picking my donors over those three years, and was really happy about the "my kid can contact them when they turn 18" part. You can't do that in Mexico.
My own didn't work out, but I have two embryos waiting for me from the egg donor. My plan is to use one of them this summer and see what happens! At this point, I'm in the process of shipping both the embryos and the leftover vial of sperm back to the US, so that I can do the FET here. Cancun was fun, and sooooo much cheaper than the US; but it also meant lots of time in Mexico. I was OK with that last summer, but I really want to spend as much of this summer as I can in my home town.
Anyway, my advice to you is: Do it!! Find an egg donor and use the sperm you're already happy with.
