Third IUI - Any tips?

I don't have any specific advice just some encouragement - it took me five unmedicated IUIs to conceive, at the age of 30 and with great fertility test results. Some people are lucky and get pregnant the first, second, or third time but for others it takes longer. The timing is really important with frozen sperm it only lives maybe 24 hours or so and some say it doesn't really swim well after 12 hours - so it is hard to hit the ovulation window perfectly. My last cycle I paid for ultrasound monitoring whereas the previous times I just used the pee strip. It turns out I would have gone in the same time with the pee strip alone though, so I don't think the monitoring was really necessary but it can show when your follicle is ready. It was very discouraging each time I got a BFN, so I feel your pain! Good luck!!!

I've been doing medicated cycles. Clomid & Ovidrel. Thanks for the encouragement!!! I appreciate it. It is hard, each time is harder. It's nice to hear success stories.
