Pineapple

I've been reading about eating a pineapple after having an IUI to increase the "stickiness" of the uterine lining. However, it seems if you eat too much, it can actually be detrimental. I know you are supposed to cut the pineapple into five pieces and eat one piece per day starting on the day of your IUI. My question....do I eat the flesh of the pineapple, or just the core? I don't want to eat too much!! I had my second IUI today and already have the pineapple!! Fingers crossed! Any other tips/suggestions?
Thanks!

When I was receiving IVF a lab tech told me about the studies on pineapple and fertility. I ate pineapple daily and became pregnant after 2 1/2 years trying. I went back 2 years later to try again. I did the same with pineapple and was again pregnant.
