Nine Years of Marriage, Four Years Trying, One Surgery and now Donor

My husband of more than nine years and I have picked out a donor after four years of infertility. We found out after a TESE two months ago he has arrested maturation and decided donor sperm was the best option for us. We're using donor #4718 and I'll start a natural cycle insemination next month. I've been writing about our experiences; we decided to put it all out there so there wouldn't be any questions or rumors, and I wanted to help other people who may be in the same situation. Check it out here: https://andyvsazoospermia.wordpress.com/ The intro post is pinned at the top, and then you can scroll all the way back to the beginning of the story when I started posting last month. I'd love to hear other stories too, so please share!

Hi, thank you so much for sharing your experience. My history is close to yours, my husband had criptorquidy when he was born and about 2 months ago he did a MicroTESE and he has arrested maturation. I am not decided about the donor yet, I am trying to look for stories that can help me to decide.

I am so grateful to you for sharing your experience. My husband has azoospermia and I could relate so much to what you were going through. I have felt pretty alone during this process. Your blog gave me hope and comfort. Wishing you, Andy, and Harrison the very best. Thank you.
