Awaiting Plan from doctor, and nervous

Hi All,
i got my day 3 results on Friday. I got the impression they are somewhat as expected for my 41 year old system, but not too good i guess - i'm going to need some help. The dr hadn't looked at them yet, so i don't have the plan from her - I expect they'll call me on monday.

FSH - 4.65 - ok
AMH - 0.50 - low :(
Estradiol - 88.7 - too high
Prolactin - 4.8 - good
Thyriod - 1.1 - good

The nurse said that the elevated estradiol could indicate a cyst, and could be suppressing FSH, giving an artificially lower FSH number - that i probably can't bank on that FSH.

All will be known on Monday, but i'm nervous. The doctors talk so fast - this is their day-to-day. and since i just get so overwhelmed i was trying to read up on fertility meds, so i have at least a clue.

the nurse said they use clomid or (and?) injectables. And i think she said they will use 2 vials - do IUI one day, then again the next day. gosh i hope i have enough, i think my donor is retired.

ughgh...

I found it easy to make notes before going to the doctor. That way you have all the questions on paper and don't forget anything. If they talk to fast ask them to slow down. It's your money and your body, you need to completely understand everything. Hope this helps, good luck tomorrow!!

Thanks a lot, I'll try to capture all my questions beforehand. One problem I'm having tho, is that I dont know enough so I feel like I can't really articulate my questions.

But perhaps yall know... I hv a severe bicornuate uterus, where one side does not really even connect thru to my cervix. So I can only try when I'm ovulating on the left side. If I take these meds, will eggs drop from both sides, or will there still be a dominate side?

    Thanks,
    Jen

Again, I had a blocked left ovary. So I could only try when I had dominate eggs on/in the right ovary. There was one cycle that I was not able to go through with the IUI because I didn't have any mature eggs on the right. The other 5 I had mature follicles on the right so I was able to go through with it. I had 2 or 3 unmedicated cycles and the other 3 or 4 was medicated. when I was on medication I always had mature on the right side. Hope this helps. Good luck!!!
