Any advice you can give my partner and I on this? Is doing this at home a good idea?

Thanks in advance :)

ICI is fine to do at home - and I've heard a lot of people like to do that so that the partner can participate. BUT - statistically ICIs are much less successful than IUI, especially with frozen sperm. Not that they don't work, they can, but with sperm being as expensive as it is, I'd personally consider IUI. I did IUI and it still took five tries to get pregnant even though my fertility tests were all great and timing was monitored with aid of fertility specialist. Also with IUI your doctor can count the sperm in the sample to make sure it is a good sample. The first donor I used, the sperm didn't survive washing that well, even though initial counts were good, so my doctor advised that I switch donors. If I'd just been doing ICIs at home I wouldn't have had that insight.
