Uncomfortable feeling after ICI

lilydove37lilydove37 Junior Member Junior Member
My wife and I did ICI at home two nights ago. I felt fine but the next day I felt almost like cramping in the morning, and now I've had a feeling of fullness in my uterus, almost like with a UTI, except it's not painful nor am I urinating frequently/no blood. I'm just slightly paranoid because I have had PID in the past. But I know that I would be experiencing serious pain of that's the case. Has anyone else felt uncomfortable after ICI?

I feel all of that after IUI's and I've wondered if it has something to do with the preparation of the sperm. I know it isn't the same procedure, but I at least wanted to respond since no one else has. I feel that way for most of the two week wait...

I know this post was started a while ago, but I have been reading a lot about IUI and ICI and from what I have read, you can experience a "reaction" from having sperm inside of you if you have never had it in you before, or if it has been many years since you had it inside of you. I just finished 2 back to back IUIs and have had similar "reactions" with some very strange side effects including dizziness, fatigue, and light cramping on my left side near my ovary.

Hopefully it was just your body adjusting to the sperm and getting ready for the baby!!
