I have a wonderful 14 month old from this donor, soon to be working on a younger sibling, so we are very happy they are still available
Wondering if we will stumble upon any half siblings here

Hi deemiggity, I have an adorable daughter, born in June 2015, from this donor too! Definitely, our babies have certain traits in common.

How fun
We are expecting with this donor again, a boy this time, I am 29w5 today -
Congratulations! I hope everything is going well. Let's keep in touch!

I'm using Donor 2789 for my first ever IUI this month. I'm so excited and I'm even more excited to have found you all and seen your pictures of your beautiful children! It just makes me even more excited! -
Good luck with that! And keep us informed if it works.
Here is a more recent picture of my daughter, taken two weeks ago. She is now 28 months old (2 years and 4 months). Sorry for the position of the picture, I can't find a way to rotate it... -
Thank you!
I will keep you updated for sure. Boy is she ever cute!!!! So smiley!

Hi ladies, I go in for my first insemination next week! I'm excited but nervous! I'm wondering - how many attempts did it take for you to get pregnant with Donor 2789? I have regular cycles, no PCOS, no known fertility issues, etc. The doctors tell me I'm the picture of health. I'm hoping it works on the first try.
-
IUI #1 is done! Praying so hard that it worked! Count was 20.8 million so my fingers are crossed!
-
Hi all - I just found out this morning that my first IUI was a success and I'm pregnant with Donor 2789. I'm so excited!
-
Thats so awesome! Congratulations! How have you been feeling? Any symptoms that hinted at pregnant?

Thank you!My first symptom was 3 days after my IUI. I had the most awful blood/metallic taste in my mouth that wouldn't go away no matter what I ate or drank.
Between 5dpiui and 8dpiui, I was having some dull cramping in my lower abdomen, and I noticed it even more when I was sitting in my car for some reason. Right below my belly button. I'd never experienced cramping before ovulation and my period, unless it was like the day of or the day after I got my period.
No implantation spotting, but I'm sure that was the implantation I was feeling. It was very strange!
I'm feeling okay now, just dull cramping on and off, but from what I've read, it's the uterus stretching. I was having some hot flashes today, and my breasts are getting sore. -
Hey congratulations, jaanni88! I hope everything is doing well. When is your delivery expected? Please keep in touch!

Currently 33w4d today with our baby boy. We're getting so excited to meet him! We've talked about wanting a sibling, and I have 2 units left of donor 2789 so hopefully that is enough. So exciting! Hope you are all well!
-
Hello jaani88, how are you? How is your little boy going?
-
Hi misssourire! Little boy is doing well and growing well! We can't wait to meet him. Only about 5 more weeks!
I will upload a picture when he gets here! Hope you and your little girl are well! XO

My minions are growing well. My daughter was recent diagnosed with autism. But she is still perfect. I'll try adding picks of her and little brother who was born May 18, 2017

Also sorry for the delays. It never notified me people had responded here *sigh* the internet lol

I got pregnant 3 times with this donor, 2nd time for my daughter, miscarried the first attempt for my son, then he was conceived the 3rd try that go round
-
I was telling my friends today how much my son looks like the donor's childhood pics, here is the comparison
-
And an updated version of my twin with me and my epic 80s hair lol
-
Hi dee - I'm so glad to hear that you had such great success with this donor! Your daughter is so cute and I can't wait to see pictures of your son! Maybe because I'm having a boy and I'm curious to know what your son looks like, lol.
I'm 38+3 with our baby boy today. Lost my mucus plug today so I hope that means that labour is on its way! Having lots of BH contractions which are super annoying and baby boy is sitting SO low.
Will keep you updated! -
I totally missed the picture of your son - ahh, baby brain! It's a real thing! He is so cute!!!

I hope baby comes smoothly. I ended up having both naturally (I tried to have an epidural with my daughter but it didnt work). I had prodromal labor with both, which was a pain in the butt, but actual labor went well, about 13 hours for both, and about 20 minutes of pushing for her and 15 for him.

Thank you! Those both sound like very manageable births. I hope I am as lucky! I'm 39 weeks today and nothing yet. I go to my midwife in 2 days to see if I am dilated at all. I'm getting very anxious and uncomfortable, and I want to meet my baby so badly!

Hello ladies! By now, I guess your baby is born, jaanni88, and I hope everything went well. I thought of you lately.
@deemiggity, My daughter saw the pictures of your girl and thought it was her! They definitely have similar features, even though she looks a lot like me too. And wow, how your son looks like the donor!
My delivery was 12 hours, I had oxytocin and then an epidural, and I had to push for 4 hours before they found out things were not good. They had to use vacuum assistance, but it worked fine! My daughter is now 3 years old and is a bright and lively little girl. These days, she is fascinated with planets... -

Oh she is SO sweet! Thank you for sharing your story!
My sweet baby boy was born on July 13. It was a VERY quick labour. From start until delivery, it was less than 10 hours. It was a tough delivery as baby decided he was going to come out with his head and elbow at the same time. He also had a large head! Lol! It was extremely painful and I suffered a third degree tear and received a lot of stitches (internally and externally). But we are SO in love with him and so grateful to Donor 2789 for giving us the greatest gift. -
Congratulations! He is adorable! I’m glad for you it end up well, and I hope you are recovering.

Thank you so much! He is 2 weeks old today and I’m still recovering but I know it will take a while to fully heal. We got his newborn photos done and can’t wait to see how they turned out! -
He is so darn sweet! I miss the baby stage, but the shop is closed, I had a hysterectomy during my last endometriosis excision.
He looks so much like my babies!
