Donor 2875-First IVF Cycle

meli505meli505 Junior Member Junior Member
I am getting all set up to do my first IVF cycle ever. It will be at Walter Reed in March 2016, with donor 2875. If anyone has experience with or pregnancies from this donor I'd love to hear about it. Any advice/info at all about donor 2875, IVF in general or Walter Reed... if anyone is well-versed! Thanks a million y'all!

Hi there! Exciting times ahead for you. Great pick on 2875 as my wife and I both got pregnant on our respective first IVF attempts. Easy pregnancy for me. I gave birth to my daughter in 2013 and my wife gave birth to our second daughter in 2014. Feel free to message me if you have any questions.

Still figuring them out myself! Glad you got butterflies. Quite frankly, there are a bunch of us currently in contact who have had great success with 2875. However, you and your husband need to focus on March! What an exciting time. Everyone has a different journey/story, though I always will hope that we all get an "easy" experience, successful pregnancy, and healthy kiddo(s) at the end of it. I will be reaching out again in a few months and hoping all is well. Thanks for the congratulations....hope I get to do the same to you soon!

So glad to hear from you again! I know I am getting ahead of myself here, but I have spent so much time and energy fantasizing, I'm pretty sure I can already see this hypothetical child existing, haha. I so hope for an easy and positive experience, but at the same time I'm mentally prepping for further strife and struggle. I have some other health issues that may complicate the cycle, Endometriosis and my hormones have been testing a little wonky, hopefully my body will adjust and work with me, nonetheless. Overall, I'm managing to stay positive and keep a healthy element of humor about the whole ordeal. We'll see how long that lasts... Right now, going to focus on March, try to just take it step by step and not let my mind wander too far ahead. I have a tentative start date of March 23rd, hormone levels permitting. I'll stay in touch! Thanks again for the support!
