JDumanz44JDumanz44 Member Member
Just wondering if anybody out there is currently in TWW? I'm on IUI #4 and I'm getting nervous again... I'll know next week if this IUI worked!

Great!!! How did they both go?! This wait is awful!!

Hoping everything went well. My dr seemed pleased with the numbers so now the dreaded wait. How about yours?

Was this a medicated cycle for you?

Mine went well... last month I had three mature follies on Femara and I was shocked that none of them made it to the end! I had an IUI back in July, September and March... all unsuccessful... and I was feeling early symptoms (or so I thought)... I think the eggs were fertilized but didn't attach. Anyway, this time around I feel EXACTLY how I felt when I conceived my son... I have no symptoms. It's odd... but maybe this is a good thing.

I'm crossing my fingers for you. Will you take an at-home test or wait it out until bloodwork? I plan to take a test sometime next week, I just haven't decided yet. Bloodwork day is a week from today for me.

It was medicated. I did clomid days 3-7 and the ovidrel injection. I will probably test at home before the bloodwork. But with the ovidrel im not sure if i will end up getting a false positive. We r hoping for the best. Praying that yours is successful

Ccrn - how are you hanging in there? How many DPO are you?

I did a test to make sure the Ovidrel was out of my system at about 8 dpo (I think!!). I just wanted to make sure I saw that the Ovidrel was out before doing the "real" test later. I saw the negative on that, so I knew the next one would be accurate. That said, I got a negative on my at-home test on both 12dpo and 13dpo. I went for my BETA today (protocol since I'll be doing a medicated cycle again)... and AF came... I was a mess yesterday. We will either try again in May or June... I need to talk to the doctor first for advice. I want to try the Gonal-f that I had leftoever from my canceled IVF cycle and see if that will help... but need to run in by them first of course.

    Keep me posted!!!!

Oh im so sorry to hear that. I triggered last tues and i will prob hold out until tues to do a hpt. I go on the 5th for a beta. Im hanging in there. Been a lil crampy so im not sure what to think from that. Hopefully they will let you use what you already paid for. We all know this stuff is expensive

    Any updates Ccrn?

Doc OK'd my suggestion of going on the Gonal-f this cycle, so I am currently on that and go for blood work tomorrow to see if the dosage needs to be adjusted!

No updates yet. I caved and took a hpt on sunday and it was negative. Today is the end of the two weeks since hcg injection so i am gonna test again first thing tomm and see what happens. My dr wants to do a beta on thurs. doesnt seem likely this month. thats good that they changed your meds. Hope they work. They mentioned changing mine as well if this doesnt take this month. Im still hoping but i feel like af is on its way :(

Oh no Ccrn :( I am so sorry. hopefully it's a little too soon still... did you take an Early Response test? I'll check back to see how you're doing... keep me posted.

I know exactly how it feels! This will be IUI #5 this month, and I am losing hope, because this is draining emotionally and financially... if it doesn't work this time we may throw the towel in, or at least take some time off so we can pay off some of the debt that we have accumulated because of this!

I did take an early response. I took 2 and both negative. Today I went for bloodwork and confirmed the negative. So needless to say I am pretty bummed. So I guess we will try again this month for IUI #3. They may switch me from clomid to femara due to thin uterine lining. I guess we will see how things play out. Good luck to you on your next attempt.

Ccrn, I am so sorry to hear that. I know how heartbreaking it is :( I wish I knew what to say, and I should know what to say because I'm going through the same thing, but there are really no words.

I've never been on Clomid, is that known to thin the lining? I know it usually helps with more follicles, but that's all I know. I've taken Femara before and 2 times only 1 follicle matured (dominated over the others), and back in March I had 3 mature follicles on Femara! They were surprised because that normally doesn't happen.

Thank you for your well-wishes. Keep me posted on your progress.
