Anyone apply for a grant to assist with costs associated with IVF

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone has applied for grants or assistance with the costs associated with IVF? If you have who have you gone through?

I thought about applying and looked into some of these grants. Well, after looking at the application process, I decided that it is not for me. There are conditions a couple must met in order to qualify for the grants. The process is not that easy. Some of them ask personal and invasive questions, ask for bank statements, or a letter from physician; there is an application fee or a donation with the application ( so if you apply to several of these, that's already quite a sum). They basically make you jump though hoops. I dont know, but infertility has already drained me so much. The last thing i want is to do is go though emotionally draining application process. I would rather save the money though working and paying for the procedure myself. But again, that's just my opinion. Someone else might think that this could be a great opportunity, and it can be.
