Which donor would you choose?

Planning my first IUI in July. Husband is Asian, i am caucasian. The donor we choose at Fairfax was retired, so we bought last 3 IUI ART samples ( smaller vials, 6 + million motile sperm each). Donor is asian, has no reported pregnancies, and that concerns me. I was going to have the lab mix two samples to have around 10 mil for first IUI. If it doesnt work, we are considering getting back up donor. He is caucasian, has a reported pregnancy, has same blood type as me, CMV negative ( I am positive), and has regular IUI sample. It is at a different bank and their samples are around 25 million. Either way, it is better than what i have. Hubby doesnt mind either way. Should i try with the asian donor or start with the white one because it seems like better odds? i will be having a natural cycle. Having married an asian guy, i have naturally envisioned our babies to be mixed. Husband just wants a healthy baby and we are both grateful to these donors. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hello! I would personally go with the Asian donor since your husband is Asian. I think having a child that is similar to both of you would make your husband feel more included! Good luck!

I would use the Asian donor if it was me, only because If my husband was Asian I would definatley want an Asian mixed baby. Fairfax had quite a few Asian donors was there only the one you liked? I've known a few people who mixed two ART vials together to have a higher count I would try that. I did a natural IUI in May and the count after my fertility clinic washed the sample was 6MM and that IUI was a success I'm now 7.5 weeks pregnant.

Thank you ladies for your perspective!
Sunshine, I am glad to hear that 6 million resulted in pregnancy. Congrats! Was it your first IUI? -
Yes, I got pregnant on my first unmedicated IUI

That's great Sunshine. Always like to hear success stories. It will be my first IUI as well. Husband and i decided to use Asian donor after all. Unfortunately, there was only 1 we liked. Donor 4875 looks just like my husband, and is in the same field. His personality is a combination of both of us, which is amazing We also purchased a backup donor, he is not Asian but European like me.
