Clomid & Ovidrel

Hey all..
Wondering how many of you have tried Clomid? Also, have you tried Ovidrel along with the Clomid?
With my son we had did one natural IUI and I got pregnant the first try. This will be IUI #6 trying for baby number two, same donor. I've tried Femara/Letrozole and Ovidrel, but never Clomid. I also tried injectables one cycle, but with no luck. I'm hoping that the doctor will agree to prescribe me with Clomid so I have more "targets" (opposed to Femara). Injectables are too expensive at this point. We've spent over $11K in one year, so we're coming to the end of our time. Honestly, I know there are risks with multiples but I'm not very concerned at the moment. I've had two cycles with 3-4 mature follicles, and no pregnancy.
Just wondering everybody's experiences with Clomid, what side effects, how many mature follicles you ended up with, any multiples? I'm also weary about Ovidrel... I know it must work, but I feel like it makes me ovulate earlier than I should (I know it's supposed to help with final maturation, but still...I'm just paranoid that it's negatively affecting me).
