Hello, I just got AF after my 2nd unsuccessful un-medicated IUI and for the two cycles I took Ovidril the length of the cycle has decreased by at least 2 days, I'm regularly a 26 day cycle and these two cycles I've been 23-24 days! Anybody else experience this? I'm going to talk to my fertility dr and get things checked out as I only have one more sample left and want to ensure optimal chance of pregnancy. The first IUI - I kind of understood maybe not getting pregnant my body had the hormone surge early and we were rushing to ensure I was inseminated before my egg was not viable but this second IUI, egg was mature and I hadn't ovulated yet, timing was perfect! sample was great! but AF showed up CD24! I knew if I wasn't pregnant this time I was going to feel the way I feel (disappointed, failed as a women). I have been checked for everything else and tubes are clear, I'm still producing lots of eggs and all my hormones are in check, thyroid is perfect, cycles were regular, I just need to make sure I'm doing all that I can do to have the baby I've always wanted...

It's a good idea to check with your dr in case there's a serious reason why your cycle shortened.
I have gone from 32 day cycles to 27-28 day cycles since starting meds a year ago, it's not uncommon.
Now, It is my ovulation day that has moved up, not my lutheal cycle and as long as follicles are growing well there's nothing wrong with the cycle being shorter.
