I don't have anyone close to talk to about my journey through infertility. No one in my family or friends has ever had to deal with this. They have no idea how many appointments, blood draws, ultrasounds, supplements, injections, I have had. They don't see why I just can't "hook up" with someone and get knocked up. So please, be my listening ear and help with any advice.
I'm 32, never had a pregnancy. I've had endometriosis and several surgeries with that. I've gone through the tests and all the blood work. I have very short cycle, a low AMH (0.7), and my ovaries dobt really do what they should. I've been on 14+ supplements for months, taking DHEA, clomid, and hcg injections. Sometime around the 30th of this month will be my first attempt with IUI. Any tips? Positive thoughts? Anything that may help?! Thank you

Hey there. I'm 33 (34 in November). Back in 2013, I got pregnant on my very first IUI with no medications. Since then, we have tried 6 more IUI's and one cancelled IVF cycle. I'm still not pregnant. It amazes me that I got pregnant with my first IUI back then, and now I am having a lot of trouble. Like they say, timing is everything. My biggest tip would be to NOT overanalyze any symptoms that you may have. With most of my IUI's this past year, I've felt pregnant and that just set me up for major disappointment. I felt all the cramping, the twinges, the hot flashes, the vivid dreams, etc. I learned to ignore those and attribute them to hormonal changes in general. I've taken Femara, Clomid, Injectables, Progesterone, Estrogen...the list goes on. I almost wonder if I was better off not being on any of the meds. Oh, I also had the Ovidrel all but one of those 6 times. Please let me know if you have any questions or anything... I learned a ton from my doctor and from all the questions I asked during my journey. I wish you the best of luck.
