My partner and I had success on our 2nd egg transfer (IVF). Good luck!

Thank you CarolinaYux! That's great to hear... How far along are you? We should be doing our first IUI at the end of this month.

Carolina, how many eggs did you transfer? We are wanting to transfer 2 if we can. Its getting so close we are almost done with the BC and going on to the next step.

Hi Shanic32, I'm Carolina's partner. We're at 15 weeks. Have you gotten your results yet? Sending good vibes--good luck!

    Hey Shawna,

I'm Carolina's partner. To answer your question: we did one embryo at a time, because we opted for genetic testing of the embryos. The testing ended up being cheaper than we expected and took a lot of worry out of the process, since we were 95% assured of chromosomal normality. It also upped our chances to 60% per embryo (at our clinic, but the average success rate is 50%, which is still excellent). I also did acupuncture and took the herbal tea my acupuncturist made. That really helped to keep me calm the day of the transfer and I highly recommend it if the option is available to you. We had a number of failed IUIs so we were trying to do everything possible to make it work as quickly as possible in IVF. Let us know how it goes!

We're all of your iui's done with this donor? It seems so far that the only successes with this donor has been IVF. We are on day 11 of our tww (iui) and so far only very faint positives which seem to me that it's the trigger shot coming out of her system. I personally do not want to waste to many of our chances on failed iui's. So we may try one more iui if this one fails then move right to IVF if the second doesn't work. Also Congrats to you and your partner :)

    HI Jenolina,

We go in on Thursday for our egg retrieval, not sure exactly how many follicles there are maybe around 14 that will be mature. We hope :) the left ovary is the showing the best numbers as of now. Hoping for some eggs :) How is Carolina feeling? Hope all is well.

We are 3dp5dt nothing to much to report right now. We were able to transfer 2 5 day blasts and then we were able to have one frozen. Hoping these two give us at least one little bundle of joy. We find out on Nov 29th if we are pregnant or not. Hope we still have some ladies out there with us using this donor. :) Take care everyone...

Hey, it's Jen (and Carolina). Just checking in to see how you're feeling and if there's any news? I remember feeling pretty much normal except the night of the implantation, which I definitely felt. It felt like cramps but for some reason I kind of knew it wasn't. It worked on our second transfer, but we only transferred one embryo at a time. I'm at 19 weeks now. Please keep us posted. Sending you good vibes, we have our fingers crossed!

Oh, and a side note to anyone else reading, I did acupuncture the day before and the day of. I also drank herbal tea for a few months before, and went to acupuncture as regularly as I could. And one thing that I think really helped me, I cut all gluten for about a month before the transfer. Hard, but I feel like it helped. I hope that helps!

    Hi Jen,

We are going in tomorrow for our first Beta level. We are 13dp5dt, so tomorrow will be the end of our TWW. We are so crazy excited, my wife has been super tired last night and this morning, I hope that's just a sign of our little one or ones growing. :) We took a HPT last Tuesday, which would have been 13 days past our trigger shot. So we weren't sure if the test was still reading the HCG from that and giving us a false positive but there was a very very faint pink line. So we decided to wait and test again on Saturday morning and which would have been 18 days past the trigger and we got a lot darker pink line. I'm thinking if it was still the trigger shot reading on the test it should've been lighter or maybe even gone by now. So we are praying and hoping to God that Saturdays test is a true positive. <3 She also had light brown spotting on 8 days post transfer only in the evening then it was gone and hasn't seen anything since. Hoping that was implantation... :) No cramps or anything else strange. Did you have any spotting? Do you know what you are having? Also how did the genetic testing go? Hope all is well and hope I can come back tomorrow with good news...

    HI Jen,

Its been awhile since I've been on here. How is it going? Hope all is well. We transferred our last embryo on 3/21/17 it was a 6 day blastocyst. This has been such a long week, just wanting to know how you were doing...

Hi all- sorry we are late on this- my wife and I have a son using donor 4725 (born 9/25/16) and I just had an IUI today with donor 4725. Our son is an incredibly happy healthy little boy- we are so hopeful that we can have another! I hope that you have had the same success we have.

We have a daughter with donor 4725 and have decided to expand our family. We are incredibly sad to report 4725 is listed as no longer available. If anyone has any vials they would be willing to sell us we would be forever grateful. Thank you in advance for your consideration.

Hi All- we have now had 2 successful pregnancies with donor 4725. Our son is 2 1/2 yrs old, and we are expecting another boy this June. Our first IUI took 6 tries (it was our last IUI effort bf we were going to switch to IVF-but we had success!) and then this second pregnancy was after our first IUI. Would love to share pics/stories etc.
