Anyone Using Donor 5224 ??

Hello all,

I'm trying to select a new donor for my final attempt at IVF. I'm finding the decision harder than the first time I had to make this choice, I've gotten gun shy!

Does anyone have any experience with donor 5224???

5224 is the one I am most seriously considering, but 4610 and 4383 are also in the running.

I think 5224 is newish to the program and has had samples available since March 2016, but he doesn't have any pregnancies reported yet- which makes me nervous.

He has an adult photo and fits what we are looking for in physical appearance.

I guess my hesitation is that he doesn't have any reported pregnancies and also, there is some history in his family of common cancers. I know that cancer is a result of more than just genetic factors and the donor himself is healthy, but I don't know if I can overlook the family history. He is otherwise perfect

Is anyone currently using this donor or recently pregnant? I would love to get some feedback and opinions.

I've recently tried this donor for 2 attempts at IUI without success. I wish Fairfax would let us know how many attempts/orders each donor had, along with the pregnancy stats. Did you end up choosing 5224???

Hello. Just wanted to share for you information, I used 4383 and just gave birth to a healthy baby boy in February. Best of luck in the process.
