    Hi,

I have a daughter from 4791 who was born in January 2017. I got pregnant on my first IUI using him, so my experience was very good. I'd be happy to answer any more questions you might have!

That is such great news, huge congratulations to you! We have had a hard year trying to conceive our second... three miscarriages and one failed cycle. I'm hoping changing things up with a new donor does the trick. Did you do medicated or natural? Healthy and happy baby? I'm going to send you a private email message as well :)

    Hello all~

First of all congratulations on the new baby awg! My wife and I are thinking about using this donor as well. We hope to also have a successful first IUI as well! Would you be willing to share pics of the new baby? This donor was ADORABLE as a baby!

    Hello Everyone,

I have a very healthy and happy 5.5 month old son from donor #4791. I was able to conceive on my 1st IVF attempt. He shared a lot of physical traits as the donor. He's a cutie!

I used this donor for my first and only IUI cycle and had a baby girl in August of 2018. She's sweet, friendly, and beautiful.

Ducky, Congratulations on your little girl! This donor seems to make lots of girls LOL!

My little guy has an easy, friendly demeanor as well.

I just had my 2nd IUI done 10 days ago with this donor and he only had 16% moving sperm!!! I bought 4 vials of this donor because of his 15-20 reported pregnancies. I am a mom to a 4 year old little girl and am doing a sperm donor this time...I would love some input on how your experience went??? Thanks!!!

I just had my second iui with this donor :( I’ll find out Monday if I’m pregnant.... I am a little upset and discouraged because his motility was only 16%!!! I have a 4 year old little girl but am doing donor route this time. Can you please tell me about your experience? Thanks :)

Hey ladies, I am planning on using donor 4791 next month. I would love to stay in touch with any half siblings out there. Crossing my fingers all goes well
  • MonieMonie Junior Member Junior Member
I am interested in using this donor, however I am nerves about his genetic testing. According to the rep only donors after Jan 2018 get tested
  • MonieMonie Junior Member Junior Member
Oh no, that moves me a little nervous. I was planning on using this donor next month. Can anyone else tell me what their moving sperm percent was when they used this donor?

If you feel uncomfortable with any part of the process, or any donor for that matter, choose one that you/SO will be ok with because it is an important decision.

I'm not sure what his motility was but I had success. It's a difficult journey. Sending you good luck!

Unfortunately, genetic testing is not required of any sperm back. There are recommendations in place, but banks need not adhere to those (sadly). Some banks do testing on their own. They are required to undergo STD testing and quarantine the sperm for months. However, that wasn't your question.

    Hey!

I did 3 IUI's with this donor and not pregnant yet. His motility was very low on my 3rd iii-- like 6% or something. I am considering IVF due to the success rate he has had with IVF. Have you done through your IUI yet?
  • texasgirl0788texasgirl0788 Junior Member Junior Member
    hey!

have you done your iui yet ? :)

I have an 11 month old baby boy after doing IVF with this donor.
  • texasgirl0788texasgirl0788 Junior Member Junior Member
    Hi Raven,

Congrats on your baby boy!! Did you do 1 round of iVF?? :)

    Thanks
  • RevenReven Junior Member Junior Member
Thank you! Yes I did one round of IVF, got 4 blastocysts to freeze, and got pregnant at my first transfer. I know I am super lucky and blessed. We had been all set to do ICSI, but 10 eggs were retrieved and they told me that the sperm’s mobility was amazing, that they didn’t end up doing it.

    Raven,

That is sooo great, so happy for you!! I have done 3 failed IUI's and am thinking about moving forward with IVF. The last vials he has had really low motility..... I already had one successful pregnancy not sure what is going on this time :(. Do you remember the motility?
  • RevenReven Junior Member Junior Member
I really don’t remember the number. I do know that despite it being a washed sample, my clinic re-washed it. Did you have a successful pregnancy with this donor?
  • texasgirl0788texasgirl0788 Junior Member Junior Member
    Hi Raven,

Okay, thanks for letting me know! No, my first pregnancy was nearly 6 years ago, my daughter is almost 5-I was married at the time. I am doing this by myself this time. I have on vial left of this donor, my next step is to go to an RE at the end of this month. I did 3 IUIS at my OBGYN'S office..not sure if that was the mistake I made.

If you do not mind me asking was the IVF process really difficult?
  • RevenReven Junior Member Junior Member
I did it by myself as well, and was it hard? Yes and no. I wanted this for so long, and I had an amazing clinic with amazing staff that took care of me. I had a wonderful experience, but there were parts that were more difficult. The hormones made me super emotional, the injections weren’t pleasant, and it felt like it took forever (I’m reality it took about a year.) would I change anything? Nope. My son is beautiful and inquisitive and so full of life (and mischief). I’m actually hoping to try another transfer in the next year or so.

My original plan (before all the tests) was to do a iui. Ultimately it was discovered the my hormones weren’t happening in the proper order for ovulation. The clinic told me that after 3 iuis, they highly suggested moving on to IVF. My cousin did 3 iuis before moving onto IVF, and her experience was vastly different than mine, despite using the same clinic. I think it’s really just going to be a personal thing whether it’s hard or not. Good luck!

Thank you for letting me know how your experience went. I really appreciate it! It sounds like everything worked out very well. Best of luck to you on your next transfer!
