So I figured all the people on here are getting ready to be a parent, so I'm going to annoy you like a toddler would with Why? How? But Why? How Come? Questions.

My wife and I want to do the IN HOME conception method. Anyone out there do that? How did it go? Any suggestions? I BELEIVE the doctor told us we need IUI sperm, because it's ready to go for in home use without a doctor. The donor we are in love with doesn't have the IUI available at the moment, so we await to see if it will be available in July when we plan to conceive.

You could do an ICI instead of an IUI, it's more recommended for people who want to do at home w/o a doctor. The main difference is you don't thread a catheter into the uterus.
My wife an I were going to do at home ICI, but things ended up changing when a local base (I'm active duty Air Force) had a fertility clinic that covered IUI.
If you get ICI vials you just need a 4 inch 1mm needless syringe (very easy to get on amazon, we have a box of 100). You basically thaw out the sample and then place the syringe as close to the cervix as possible, then the sperm does what it is meant to do. Don't do this method with IUI vials - since the sperm is washed it may have a harder time surviving before it hits the uterus. Similarly don't do an IUI with ICI vials, you could get an infection and sever cramping.
    Good luck!
