1 week down and ...

not looking forward to another week of TWW.

So I cheated during my TWW and took an HCG test which came up negative. This is kinda bumming me out as I read that taking trigger shot (Ovidrel) would make my HCG test a false positive. So I googled some more and now am more anxious then ever. Here's quick update on what I've done for my first IUI on 7/7:

Clomid CD 3-7
Ultrasound/Ovidrel/started Estradiol (x2 a day) CD12
IUI CD 13

and I take every day but Vit D once a week:
75 mpg for Thyroid
200 mg Labetalol for High Blood Pressure
50,000 Vit D

So I don't know if all of these medication have something to do with me not testing positive on my HCG test. However, I've been feeling slight back pains that comes of and on. I feel my ovaries which i think are my ovaries throbbing every now and again. I can't really bend over because of pain on my ovaries. I'm slight nauseous sometimes I don't know if it's all in my head.

If anyone reading this has similar symptoms, let talks.

I had a similar experience.
I was on Clomid, then took Ovidrel, and had an IUI. Like you, I was worried that since I did not get a positive HCG soon after insemination something was wrong. My partner and I knew that the ovidrel could cause a false positive so I started HCG testing about 3 days after the IUI so I could watch myself test out of it (and I would know if a positive was real or not).

It turns out I didn't get a positive until it was an actual positive for pregnancy!

This was my first try so its not too much to go on, but you aren't alone.
I also had pinches and slight back pain, but it wasn't as sever as yours sounds.

Good luck and remember just because the Ovidrel didn't cause a false positive doesn't mean it didn't take!

1st IUI on 7/7 was a negative.

Did my 2nd IUI last Tuesday 8/8. I did HCG testing just to test if the Ovidrel would give me a false positive and this time around it showed faint second lines unlike my 1st IUI.

For the 2nd IUI 8/8:

Clomid CD 3-7
Estradiol 2x a day (morning/evening)
Ultrasound CD 12 (small follicles)
Ultrasound CD 15/ Trigger Shot (3x nice size follicles)
IUI CD 16

And still taking all the other medication mentioned in original post. This time around I don't feel anything, no overies pain or back pain. But I've been having very weird dreams but I read that it might be a side effect of ovidrel. This time around I'm not constantly reading up on IUI and googling non-stop about IUI this or that. So here to continuing this stress free 2 week wait.

I think my 2nd IUI on 8/8 is successful. I'm on 14 dpiui and have multiple test strips showing positive and just went in today to officially get a blood test and will find the results tomorrow afternoon.

my symptoms appeared at about 10 dpiui with sore nipples (not whole breast but just the nips), tiredness, nausea after most meals and the weird dreams have continued. This morning i gagged and threw up after getting a whiff of toothpaste.

so hoping i'll get great news tomorrow afternoon to confirm what i think is to be true.
