in Selecting a Donor
Hi everyone!! My wife and I are new to the forum and to this process, but are extremely excited to begin starting a family! Has anyone used donor 4958? If so, how did it work out? This donor is our top choice and checks every box for us. Also, any advice regarding this entire process?

    My wife and I just ordered a vial from 4958, so I can tell you in about 2 months if he worked out for us or not. I know that won't help you immediately, but if you're just starting out and not needing to purchase anything right away then I can definitely share our outcome.

    We did our first hpt 5 days ago and it was positive! I had my first beta yesterday and it was a good #!! So, I would say this donor has worked out well for us so far!!! And our lab said that his sperm looked really good when they thawed it. If you decide to go with this donor if you haven't selected yet, Good Luck!!!

    Yay!! Congrats! That's so exciting :) My wife and and I are going to try ICI x2 this weekend at home! I'll keep you posted on our results.

    Our first one ended in a MC at 10 weeks, and we are currently in the tww from our second transfer. Hopefully everyone else is having luck!

    My wife and I are so sorry to hear about the MC :( Keep us posted about the 2nd transfer!

    We currently have completed 2 ICIs and 3 IUIs with this donor and all attempts have been unsuccessful... We are currently pursuing IVF at this time and plan to start that process in a few days. Luckily we bought a decent amount of vials in case this happened.

    Hi everyone!! I just wanted to give you all an update and let you know that we are currently 14 weeks pregnant with donor 4958!!! IVF was the key and worked the first time!! :)

    PSU, congrats on your little boy! I bet he has been growing like a weed. It has been a long time since I was on here to check on everyone so that is so exciting to see that you were successful. We also just had a little girl of our own back in May! I just submitted her information to Fairfax so that maybe we could join the family forum for the donor and meet other donor siblings =-) Congrats again on your little one, I'm sure he is cute as can be!

    OMG YAY!! That's AMAZING!! Congrats on your little girl!! Our son is a TANK! Definitely growing non-stop and is just so stinking cute! He crawls everywhere and just wants to walk... but he's not quite there yet haha.

    I'm sure your little girl is so adorable :) Congrats again!!

    Please let me know how to join the family forum if you end up doing so! Maybe we should start a facebook group or something?

    OMG I am not ready for her to start crawling or walking! She just turned 3 months old yesterday and I just never want her to grow up and not need us like she does now =-) She has been on the smaller size since she was born, but hoping that she is catching up when we have a check-up next month.
    I haven't heard back from Fairfax on joining the donor sibling forum yet and I've sent them our pregnancy report, registered for the donor forum and contacted them to find out why I haven't heard back yet. It is on the main page when you first sign into the family forum page listed towards the bottom as a private forum. It would be awesome to start a facebook group to find more donor siblings though!

    Hi Lyndsey! So there are no other families in the 4958 donor family forum. But, there is a Facebook group to join for families who used Fairfax! If you search for Fairfax Cryobank families, you can request to be added to the group. I hope all is well!
