Prometrium?

Hi everyone,
I've been reading online that prometrium delays your AF, but the nurse I am working with said it doesnt? Does anyone have any experience with taking prometrium? I am taking it twice a day vaginally - It's not too bad - Not sure why I was not put on suppositories instead but I hear those can get much messier...

A woman’s luteal phase is typically 12-14 days, but mine was as short as 9-10 days which indicated that my progesterone was dropping off too quickly. I was put on 200mg progesterone suppositories (yes, they can be messy) and would not start my AF until I stopped them following a negative pregnancy test. After that, AF typically comes 1-2 days later.

I'm sorry to hear that. I'm in the thick of IVF now, will let you know how it goes.

mrccjf, I have to do three more IUIs before insurance will kick in for IVF...and I am skipping January because I have to do a mock cycle for a transfer :( So bummed. Keep me posted on your status - I am holding out for you with positive thoughts!
