How many appointments when using fertility meds for an IUI?

I am doing my first IUI at the end of the month unmedicated. My doctor and I have agreed to try twice being trying medication but I may try it on the second round. I am 33 and no known infertility issues and I am using a donor as I'm single. With unmedicated all I have to check is my LH surge and then inseminate the day of and day after the surge.
For those of you who are doing a medicated cycle can you tell me a bit about all of the extra appointments around it? (And what medication you used) If there are a lot I will wait for the third cycle as it will be challenging to book the appointments around work.
Thank you so much!

Hello! Good luck on your journey! I am currently 4w4d pregnant from a medicated IUI cycle. Here are the appointments I had:
CD 3 - Ultrasound to check how many follicles I had and blood work to check my levels, my doctor put me on Clomid 50 mg for 5 days
CD 10 - Another ultrasound to check on how my follicles were maturing, they werent mature enough yet so I had to come back for another ultrasound.
CD 15 - Third ultrasound, this time I had a nice mature follicle at 23. The doctor said I was already on my way to ovulating so she had me trigger that same day (with ovidrel) and come in the next day for IUI.
CD 16 - IUI
