Follow these steps to join a private donor group:
1) Press "Join" at the right of the group
2) Once prompted to confirm your request please list this information so we can verify your information:
Name (under which the vial was purchased)
Email
Clinic Name
Donor number
Child Date of Birth

    Ashchristine under the forum page scroll down to where it says Private forums and click private forum by donor number. Then click start new thread and answer the questions in the yellow text in the thread. Hit post and a moderator will look at your responses and put you in the correct forum. It took about a week! Once you’re accepted you will see in small letters sub forum donor 5077 in that same general area on the forum page

    Hi all! My wife and I didn’t know these forums existed, or we would have checked in sooner! We have a son using donor 5077 :) delivered an incredibly healthy, lovely baby boy at the end of December.

    The pregnancy took on my fourth round of IUI using two vials and clomid. The first few vials had somewhat low motility, so we decided we’d try one more IUI (double dose) before switching donors. Of course, that’s the one that took! We are submitting to join the private group now and look forward to hearing from you about your babies! Good luck and sending fertile vibes to everyone in whatever stage of the journey you are in!

    Ok Canadian mamas!!!! This donor is now inactive with no vials left if you have vials you know
    For certain you will not need I would love to buy them...I am currently 15 weeks pregnant and have only
    One vial left in storage...I would like to have more than one child and I am not convinced one vial will do it as this babe took 5 vials to make....I am sure most of you have no idea if you will use your left over vials or not but please please keep me in mind!!! Thank you so much!!!

    nursegurl I didn't notice the donor was inactive! UGH. I have ONE vial but saving it for reciprocal IVF for our next one. I know they can use the same vial for more than one round of IVF so I guess it's good thing that was our plan. Welcome KAP2018 and congratulations! I will see you on the private forum!

    Does anyone know what the policy is as far as Fairfax contacting the donor for more sperm? Our son was born in March, and we wanted to try again soon. So upset to see 5077 is inactive.

    I contacted them. They said that as long as we have a pregnancy already reported, we can request that the donor be contacted. There are fees involved and they said it could cost several thousand dollars. Once I find out more information, I will keep you updated.

    Hey! I’ll keep it brief. It’s really simple. Go back to the main forum page and scroll down past the discussion forums. There will be a “Private Forum by donor Number” link. Click that and read the directions in the yellow box. Make a post as it requests and answer the questions. It does take a little bit for you to be approved.     Hi! My wife and I decided to go with 5077 and made the purchase today. I cannot believe how overwhelming it was to make a decision. I was in tears after I finished making the order. We are hoping to do the first round of IUI towards the end of December. We are super excited and completely freaked out.

    Hello All - I have a vial of this donor that I am hoping very much to use for an upcoming IVF cycle. However, he was not tested for Wilson's Disease, which I am a carrier for. I am waiting to hear from the genetic counselor at Fairfax, but in the meantime, I wonder if anyone else had additional testing done on this donor and would be willing to share the results?
