Risk of Multiple Births with HGC Trigger Shot on Natural Cycle

Hello all! I am a (almost) 35yr old woman with no history of fertility issues. (I have one bio daughter conceived naturally during my 1st attempt with my ex husband.)
I am single now and doing an unmedicated cycle with IUI. I am trying to decide if I should use an HCG trigger shot? I like that it helps prepare the uterus for implantation, but I am concerned about possibly releasing multiple eggs. I was told the shot can cause any mature eggs to be released, but that if they aren’t big/mature enough, they won’t fertilize anyway. Being single, I do not want to do anything to increase my chances of a multiple pregnancy.
Can someone shed some light onto whether the shot alone increases your chances for a multiple pregnancy?
