Adult Photos

Hi,

I have begun my journey to find a donor over the last few months. Searching for a donor has been the most difficult part for me thus far. Many of the donors do not have adult photos and although many of you may not think this is important, for many others like myself it is.

When women donate their eggs, they are required to submit lifetime photos, not just baby photos. And we all know our appearances change quite a bit from childhood. Like some have mentioned in this forum, I have also seen baby/child photos of donors on another site and many look totally different as adults. And if not having an adult photo is frustrating enough, I also need a donor who is CMV neg and Open ID.

If the donors are Open ID why don't the banks require them to submit adult photos as well?

    I agree I also want an adult picture, although there are probably only 5-10% that have adult pictures. I’ve had two unsuccessful IUI’s with my donor that has an adult pic. I’m wondering if I should try to find another donor for third IUI. But I haven’t found anyone else I’m drawn to.
