GREETINGS!

My wife and I are at the beginning stages of increasing our family. Any advice on which paths to take (IUI or IVF)? Any advice in general? We appreciate you in advance!

    Hello usrondeno!
We attempted (and failed hard) with ICI which is done at home. We went with another cryobank at first and they did a very poor job, my partner nearly burnt her hand trying to retrieve the vials from the cryotank....it was a mess.
Then we tried Fairfax with IUI. It was concise, simple, done at the doctors office and took the second time!
I'm not saying any of this is easy. It was all tricky - peeing on the ovulation stick (and my hand 1/3 of the time) waiting, hoping, praying for the smiley face to stop blinking. Lugging the cryotank from the doctors office (yes! our doctor made us take it with us!!!)
    But the IUI worked.
And the moment I peed on the stick at 4am because I couldn't hold my bladder any longer and the stick read "Pregnant" I remember I ran out into the snow and cried and danced and just said over and over, "I'm pregnant! I'm pregnant!"
This past December I gave birth (ugh - the birthing bit, yikes and ouch!) to literally the most perfect love of my life.

My advice - try IUI, supposedly the average person takes nine months to conceive! It took me three tries (over a six month span)
Find lots of distractions, mine personally was working. But it is so so SO hard and distracting and all consuming when you pee on that stick every morning and afternoon to see if you're ovulating, if you can call and have the specimen sent, if the procedure date will fall on a weekend, if this, if that, it goes on and on. Find distractions, the waiting is so unbelievably tricky and a worried mind is not conducive to conceiving.

    Best of luck to you!!!!
