Hi All,
I am 41 (almost 42)...and did 5 IUIs.... the 3rd one was ectopic unfortunately (which has a 1 percent chance of happening...sigh) and I had to take three months off after getting the methotrex. shot. IUI 4 and 5 didnt take....
I was told that IUI success rate at my age is about 5-10 percent if that.
IUI six...my last shot....I figured I would switch donor (used same donor for numbers 1-5)....After IUI six, IVF it was...
I was disappointed because the donors numbers werent good (my clinic does back to back IUI) - In fact, I called Fairfax and filed a complaint - they would refund me pending a negative test....because the numbers didnt meet the criteria...
Well, I received a positive bloodtest yesterday at 320!
I know I am far from out of the woods... but could use all of the prayers possible that this continues in a good direction.
I never met the right guy - stayed with the same guy for five years because I wanted a family.....huge mistake, huge waste of time...but it brought me to here....

Ah waited40 that's great news! Congratulations ! I'm glad you didn't have to go through the IVF process, it's elaborate and emotionally (and financially) taxing. So so happy for you.

Thank you all. I know I have a ways to go but I’m praying I’m given this oppprtunity to go on this journey. I pray for all of you strong single gals too!
