Hello! My wife and I purchased 4 vials of this donor but we want two children and he is already inactive. I’m looking at possibly buying more from anyone who may no longer need what they have in storage. I haven’t found anything on this forum with this number but I wanted to give it a try!

Hi! We have one vial left that we don't plan on using. However, the vial is not being stored at Fairfax Cryobank. It's being stored at the clinic we are using.

I'll ask my clinic. I made my embryos in November, and I never asked it they thawed the second vial. First FET tomorrow!!

Do either of you have pregnancy/babies from him?

I just confirmed that I have one vial at my clinic as well. Not sure if Fairfax facilitates transfers? I can't imagine clinic-to-clinic is very easy.

Still curious if anyone has pregnancy/babies! I check the donor-sibling registry website maybe once a week looking, but nothing is posted yet.

Oh my gosh! I didn’t come back to check this, assuming I’d get an email. Congratulations! I do not have a child yet and we would love to use this donor but our first three attempts were unsuccessful. I don’t know how getting a vial clinic to clinic would work but I imagine it could be possible. Now with all the COVID stuff happening I know all of this is being placed on hold. If your clinic doesn’t mind holding onto it until things calm down, then I can discuss the possibility with my clinic!

No problem. I got pregnant with my March FET, but I miscarried at almost 10 weeks. It was a PGT-tested embryo, so I'm beside myself. I hope to transfer another embryo in the coming months. Surprisingly, my euploid embryos were 5/6 the same gender - not sure if that might sway your decision, lol.

Oh my gosh! I am SO sorry! Since I am not doing IVF, I don’t know what most of this means but I googled it and it sounds like the miscarriage was very unexpected because of the testing done. I will be thinking of you for your next transfer!

As far as the gender, I’m also not totally sure what that means other than I assume you mean you had most embryos of one gender? Or the other gender seemingly had more problems? I’m starting to regret being so naive about the IVF process even though I’m doing IUI!

Thanks. It was a chromosomally normal embryo, and so no one knows why I miscarried. I've been told multiple times that I can't have a further workup until I've had 2+ miscarriages (which I obviously don't want to do!).

5 out of my 6 of my good embryos are the same gender. I didn't want to automatically share because I wasn't sure if that might ruin some sort of surprise for you.

I'm excited to know we might have kids close in age! Fingers crossed and babydust for all!!
