ID vs Non-ID?

Hi! I'm a single mother (I have a 12 year old from my marriage), and I'm now looking to have another child on my own. I'm struggling between selecting ID or Non-ID. I *think* I want to give my kid the option to know their biological father, but this severely limits the number of available donors.

I'm curious to hear from others how you came to the decision you made.

Soo we choose non-ID, but honestly nowadays even if they are nonID, the chance of them being able to still find them is likely. With all the DNA kits and such. I know it might not make a difference but something to consider.
