We are parents of donor 5161 (due March 2021)

In addition, we are in contact with another donor family who has a beautiful little boy by donor 5161. This donor, as of 3 months ago, had 48 vials left. However, they are now all gone. Both families have been told that the donor has 'sold out' which seems crazy to think 48 vials sold in 3 months. We are concerned theres another reason--medically or ethically--in his profile or perhaps he just requested his vials to be pulled? Is there a way to find out more information?

As you can imagine, it is devastating for both families with current children as 48 vials was a lot for us to use --not expecting them all to be gone in a mere 3 months.

Or does anyone on here have a child from 5161 or trying with 5161? As far as we know, the family we are in contact with is the first and only reported birth.
